Charles Edouard Delort
1841 - 1895
Charles Edouard Delort (1841-1925) was a French painter known for his romantic landscapes. His works often feature luminous skies, lush meadows, and shimmering water. His style was heavily influenced by the Barbizon School of painting, and his work is often compared to that of his contemporary, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot. Delort's paintings are characterised by their vivid colours and attention to detail, and his work has been widely admired for its poetic beauty.
We have 6 artworks in our catalogue by Delort available for order. Browse our full collection of Delort prints, or browse other French artists.
Of our Prints and Others...

The quality of a Giclée fine art print may be generally reckoned from the weight, and therefore, thickness, of the printing paper that is used. That is, the heavier, weightier the printing paper that is used, the better the likely quality. Weight of paper is measured in 'Grams per Square Metre' or 'gsm' for short. So, without further ado...
